6.1. Install App
You can download the app from our website at www.q-nix.com/downloads or directly from the hand-held
unit when using the device for the first time. Proceed as follows:
• Connect the gauge to the computer via USB cable.
• Select and execute the file „Start_QN9".
• Start the software.
Notive Detect device
The software automatically detects your device.
A few selected functions of the QN9 software will be described hereafter. You will find more and detailed
information in the QN9 software operation manual.
6.2. Manage Jobs
You can easily prepare jobs on the PC and then transfer them to the hand-held unit. The software allows
you to replace the number with any alphanumeric name. You can further configure multiple devices the
same way for more efficient measurements. The jobs, areas, limit sets, etc., work the same in the QN9
software as on the actual device.
You can use the software to import measurement series from the device, save these, and generate test
reports. In addition to the standard templates, you can also customise these or create new templates.
