The gauge is now ready for use. To remove a probe, follow the above steps in reverse order.
3.3. Check Basic Settings
Check and, if necessary, change the factory settings of your device. At a minimum, check the settings for
•
language
•
unit
•
date and time
•
configuration of the
•
power save options
These settings can be found in the „System" menu. The settings pertaining to the measurement job can
be found in the menu „Jobs", „Limits" and „Adjustment".
3.4. Software Backup
The „QN9" is loaded on the device. This software is used to later manage the device and the recorded
measurements on the PC. Back this software up to your PC.
Notice
Formatting will erase all data
Formatting the memory will also erase the software from the device. You can download the software
from www.qnix.com/download.
