Setting adjustment parameters
In the „Adjustment" menu you can set the following parameters prior
to adjustment:
•
Open the „Adjustment" menu
•
Under „Settings", select the adjustment based on
the job or the limit set
•
If necessary, adjust the parameters
The different adjustment methods are especially suitable for these measuring tasks:
1. Zeroing: for simple measurements on flat objects to be measured with uncoated substrate.
2. 1-Point: for simple measurements on flat objects to be measured with coated substrate of known
coating thickness.
3. 2-Point and individual: for special substrates and measuring object geometries with strong curvatures.
4. Standard based adjustments: for measuring tasks, subject to such standards

For zero point adjustment, simply place the probe on the uncoated original substra-
te. This adjustment is ideal for smooth surfaces.
For 1-point adjustment, select a suitable reference film close to the expectancy
range and a smooth, uncoated original substrate.
For 2-point adjustment, select two reference films of different thicknesses which
also include the expectancy range and a smooth, uncoated original substrate.
