To make the connect closure connections for a stand-alone LC system with an
Accela Open Autosampler, Accela pump (all models), and an Accela UV/Vis Detector
1. Connect the Accela Open Autosampler system interconnect cable as follows:
a. Plug the DB15 connector into the Interface 1 receptacle on the back panel of the
Accela Open Autosampler.
b. To connect the Accela pump (all models), do one of the following:
i.
For an Accela 600 Pump or Accela 1250 Pump, plug the 25-pin connector into
the D-Sub25 receptacle on the pump's back panel (see
ii. For an Accela Pump, plug the 25-pin connector into 25-socket connector of the
Accela Pump adapter cable (see

2. To connect the adapter cable to the interconnect cable, plug the 2-pin male connector
labeled TO 60157-63024 on the adapter cable into the 2-pin female connector on the
interconnect cable.
3. Connect the adapter cable connector labeled TO PDA to pins 1 through 8 on the
UV/Vis detector's back panel.
