7. OPERATION
7.8.6.10 Calibration of Cutting Angles
After obtaining these measurements, height error of the table is found by using the
below formula.
[Equipment height + (distance at 45 degree) – (distance at -45 degree)] / 2 = Height of table.
Equipment height + distance at 45 degree = Product
Product – (-45) = Result
Result / 2 = The obtained value is entered to table height
.
For Example ;
Equipment height
Distance at 45 degree : 1.8 mm
Distance at -45 degree : 102.2 mm
Then the table height is calculated as following.
99.8 + 1.8 = 101.6
101.6 – 102.2 = -0.6
-0.6 / 2 = -0.3 this value is entered in the table height.
: 99.8 mm
First fixed head is rotated to 45 degree. At that
position, equipment is set to zero with saw, and the
distance is measured as shown in Figure.
Afterwards head is rotated to -45 degree and
equipment is set to zero with saw. Then distance is
measured as shown in Figure.
Equipment height is measured.
