Jackshaft Bearing Support Assembly (Pull Type); Hydraulic Or Manual Lift - RHINO FC-0110 Operator's Manual

JACKSHAFT BEARING SUPPORT ASSEMBLY (PULL TYPE)

1. To install bearing assembly, begin by sliding
45mm Flange Bearing (2) over the Jackshaft
(3) as shown.
2. Insert the shaft through the large hole in
Bearing Mount (1). Install 1/2 x 1-1/2" Hex
Bolts (5) through 1/2" Flatwashers (4),
Bearing Mount (1), and Flange Bearing (2),
and secure by hand tightening 1/2" Locking
Flange Nuts (6) as shown.
3. Install 1/2" x 1-1/2" Hex Bolts (5) through 1/2"
Lockwashers (7), 1/2" Flatwashers (4),
Bearing Mount (1), and the cutter deck into
the weld nuts on the underneath side of the
deck.
Use the adjustment slots vertically on the Bearing
Mount (1) face and the adjustment slots on the
bearing mounting plates to level the Jackshaft (3)
vertical to reduce stress on the universal joint of
the shaft.
NOTE: Be certain to tighten all hardware to
appropriate torque.
NOTE: Two set screws on the flange bearing
must be tightened after all of the 1/2" hardware.

HYDRAULIC OR MANUAL LIFT

Attach cylinder (1) to lug on deck weldment using
1"x 3-1/4" cylinder pin (2), 1" washer (3), and 3/
16 x 2" cotter pin (4). Attach cylinder and cylinder
and lock (5) to axle lug (6) using 1" x 5" cylinder
pin (7), 1" washer (3), and 3/16" x 2" cotter pin
(4). Attach hose fitting (8) to straight hydraulic
adapter 8MB-6MJ with.062 orifice (9). Install a #8
hydraulic breather vent (10) on rod end of
cylinder as shown.
