SHIELD ASSEMBLY - MAIN INPUT - PULL

1. Attach Hinge Mount Bracket (1) to Divider
Gearbox (2) using 5/16" x 1" Hex Bolts (3), 5/
16" Lockewashers (4), and 5/16" Flatwashers
(5).
2. Attach Gas Spring (6) to Bracket (9) using
10mm Ball Stud (7) and 5/16" Toplock Nut (8)
as shown.
3. Slide Brackets (9 & 10) onto Hinge Mount
Bracket (1) as shown.
4. Use 3/8" x 3/4" Carriage Bolts (11), 3/8"
Flatwashers (12), and 3/8" Acorn Nuts (13) to
attach Driveline Shield (14) to Brackets (9 &
10). Leave Bolts loose.
5. Attach Latch (15) to Driveline Shield (14).
Close and latch Driveline Shield (14) against
Bearing Mount Bracket (16).
6. Tighten 3/8" Carriage Bolts (11) and Acorn
Nuts (13.
7. Attach Gas Spring (6) to Hinge Mount Bracket
(1) using 10mm Ball Stud (7) and 5/16"
Locknut (8) as shown.
