HIGH PRESSURE OIL LEAK HAZARDS

TO AVOID DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY FROM HIGH PRESSURE HYDRAULIC OIL
LEAKS PENERATING SKIN:
DO NOT OPERATE
all hydraulic hoses, lines and connections in
KEEP
pressure.
RELIEVE HYDRAULIC PRESSURE
and replace hose if you suspect it leaks. Have dealer test it for leaks.
REMOVE
HIGH PRESSURE FLUID LEAKS CAN BE INVISIBLE.
WHEN CHECKING FOR HYDRAULIC LEAKS AND WORKING AROUND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS:
safety glasses with side shields (marked with ANSI Z87) and impenetrable gloves.
ALWAYS WEAR
paper or cardboard to search for leaks.
USE
hands or body parts to search for leak.
DO NOT USE
hands and body
KEEP
Injected Hydraulic fluid may cause gangrene if not surgically removed immediately by a doctor familiar with
this form of injury.
