MOWER BLADE CONTACT HAZARDS

KEEP AWAY FROM ROTATING BLADES TO AVOID DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY FROM BLADE
CONTACT:
STAY AWAY and KEEP HANDS, FEET and BODY AWAY from rotating blades, drivelines and parts until
all moving elements have stopped.
DO NOT put hands or feet under mower decks
STOP rotating BLADES disengage PTO and wait for blade to stop rotating before raising mower deck or
wings
STOP LOOK and LISTEN before approaching the mower to make sure all rotating motion has stopped.
IF A MATERIAL BLOCKAGE occurs in the inlet or discharge areas of the mower, SHUT DOWN TRACTOR ENGINE,
disengage the PTO and wait for all rotating motion to stop. Place the tractor in park position, engage the parking brake
and remove the key before leaving the operator's set. Clear the blockage before proceeding with mowing. Be sure to
keep feet and hands clear of the mower blades. If you raise the mower or mower wing to access the blockage, engage
the wing lock up latch and securely block up the mower before placing any parts of the body beneath the mower.
