5.5 Maintenance of the
NC-Rotary Table
General Information
The NC-rotary table requires little maintenance and
little time to be spent on looking after it.
The NC-rotary table is already correctly filled with oil
in the factory.
Thanks to the machine's central lubrication
system, there are only two lubrication points
to be monitored.
In order to top up with lubricant, loosen the upper
screw [1] and completely remove it. With the aid of
the easily made device shown above fill up with oil
to the marking pin.
The second lubrication point [2] is to be found on the
underside of the NC-rotary table. It should be greased
every three months using a grease gun (grease
type K 2 K).
Check the function of the central lubrication system
daily.
The lubrication is correct when a very slight amount
of surplus oil is "lost" under the table plate.

Oil Change
The oil in the NC-rotary table is to be changed
after every 2000 operating hours, or after one year
at the latest.
Remove the drainage screw [3] and let the used oil
run off into a suitable container.
Then screw the drainage screw back in again.
Fill the NC-rotary table with lubricant via the
filler inlet [1] in accordance with the lubrication
instructions (page 5-10).
Changing the Guideway Stripper
Check the functioning of the stripper [4] on the
clamping jaws. Change the stripper as soon as the
rubber lips show signs of damage.

• In the „JOG" mode of operation enter the command
M25. The table clamping is thus released.
• Remove all the screws holding the covering
plates and remove the main front cover.
