To properly set the calibration vane assembly, complete the following
steps.

Turn the cover assembly over, loosen the calibration vane nut.

Using a screwdriver turn the calibration vane to the desired setting.

After the calibration vane is in the desired location, tighten the nut
to fix the location of the calibration vane. See Figure 39.

To increase the registration, turn the calibration vane assembly
toward the plus sign.

To decrease the registration, turn the calibration vane assembly
toward the minus sign.
The throttle valve assembly consists of two parts:
The throttle valve.
The snap ring.
Throttle
valve
Complete the following steps to remove the throttle valve assembly.

Lift the throttle valve assembly, then insert the snap ring pliers.

Use the pliers to remove the snap ring. See Figure 41.
