Place the cover assembly upside down, then remove the seal ring.
See Figure 30.

Inspect the seal ring and if it is damaged or compromised throw the
seal away.

Use the 7/16-inch wrench to remove the four lock nuts and bolts
underneath the turbine measuring assembly. See Figure 31.

Remove the turbine measuring assembly by lifting the magnet drive
spindle and the calibration vane assembly up. See Figure 32.
Maintaining the TRU/FLO Compound Meter
With the calibration vane lock nut loosened, you can lift the
calibration vane and rotate it out of the way.
