Enter 2 in the PVID field for port 1 and

click Apply to save your changes back
to the run-time memory. Settings in the
run-time memory are lost when the
Switch's power is turned off.

5.2 Configuring Switch Management IP Address

If the Switch fails to obtain an IP address from a DHCP server, the Switch will use 192.168.1.1 as the
management IP address. You can configure another IP address in a different subnet for management
purposes. The following figure shows an example.
