1.8.11 Front Panel LED

The IPC950 implements four LEDs which indicate system status. Solid green on PWR
LED indicates the system is on. Flashing green on HDD LED indicates stora ge activity.
Users can program customized system status indication with programmable LED. The
system will flash orange while PROCHOT# is asserted, and solid red while
THERMTRIP# is asserted on CPU LED.

1.8.12 SATA Connector

The IPC950 has one Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (Serial ATA or SATA) 3.0 port
(CN11) with 6Gb/s performance. This interface is for connecting to devices such as hard disk
drives.

1.8.13 SATA Power Connector

The SATA power connector (CN12) provides +12V and +5V power for 2.5" HDD or SSD
