ESP3 Protocol

ESP3 is a peer-to-peer protocol that uses a data packet structure, consisting of
three groups:
Header:
The header group contains all information needed to analyze the ESP3
packet, including the data length, optional length and packet type (e.g.,
command, event, radio or report).
Data:
The data group contains the data of an ESP3 packet. To ensure upward
compatibility, the format for this field is always the same for a specific ESP3
packet type (e.g., a specific ESP3 command).
Optional data:
An existing ESP3 packet can lengthened with the optional data group.
The sync byte indicates the start of an ESP3 packet. CRC8 checksums for the
header (CRC8H) and data (CRC8D) are used to determine the validity of the
telegrams.
