a CSX100 via PPP. Separate instructions are included for two router-to-router applications,
IPX, and two router-to-bridge applications,
The documentation assumes that you are able to run QuickSET and have it find your CSX100. If
you are unable to run QuickSET, please refer to the Read Me First document on the CyberSWITCH

With Network Address Translation (NAT), the CSX100 has one real IP address on the WAN and
you can create your own IP addresses on the LAN. Using DHCP, you can create any range of
addresses for the PC's on the LAN to use. When a PC requests to access the WAN, the CSX100
sends its own valid WAN IP address instead of the address on the PC. The outside world is
unaware of the IP addresses used on the LAN. NAT reduces the number of IP addresses needed
for a remote network by using only one address, instead of needing one address for the router, and
one address for each PC on the remote network.
