    SING UICK TART Quick Start is recommended only for those users who are experienced with hardware and software installation procedures. Quick Start is divided into two parts. • Basics This chapter gives detailed instructions on the initial installation steps that are required for all CyberSWITCH configurations.

    ASICS NSTALLING ARDWARE There is a possibility that your distributor has already completed hardware installation. If hardware installation has not been completed, follow the instructions listed below. WARNING: Anytime you remove the module cover, make sure the power cord is not plugged in. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or equipment damage.

    You can use a standard RS232 cable with a null-modem device for direct attachment between the administration console PC and the CyberSWITCH. If you are using remote attachment, connect the administration console PC and the system to their respective modems.     If you want to attach remotely to the system using modems, you must change these settings by using the CCINSTAL program. Refer to the Remote Management chapter of the User’s Guide for details on running this program.
