Manager/ Secretary working
Manager/Secretary working is a set of
programming options used to maximise the
efficiency with which two people may work
together. It is traditionally used for a manager
and secretary.
When the Manager/Secretary combinations
are programmed the Secretary may answer
calls ringing on the Manager or Managers'
phone(s) by dialling their number or pressing
a key on which the number is programmed.
To activate Manager/Secretary working, it is
necessary to combine the Manager and
Secretary phones as follows:
• From the programming position dial
followed by the system PIN. The
Systemphone display shows Di al admi
(97).
•Dial the admin code
• Enter the Manager extension.
If the extension has been combined previously
with a Secretary the existing Secretary number
will be displayed. The Secretary number may be
changed by entering the new Secretary extension
number. It may be removed by entering the
displayed Secretary extension number.
• Enter the Secretary Extension.
• Enter # to complete the association.
You may continue by entering the next Manager
extension. More than one Manager may be
associated with any Secretary.

programming.
NOTE: Manager/Secretary working is not
available on all systems.
When combining Manager
phones, you may change or enter the new
Secretary extension by pressing the

You may program a dedicated line for the
Manager so that no other extension may
make or receive calls on that line.

with a key for paging the Secretary's phone.

Secretary extension.
