Using
If you have a doorphone, your
must program and enable the doorphone.
If you have a doorphone, anyone visiting your
premises can call you when they arrive, so
you can speak to them before you let them in.
If you have a doorstrike fitted, you can open
the door from your phone by using a feature
code.
Your BT engineer can provide the connection
for a doorstrike but you must purchase the
doorstrike yourself, and arrange for a
qualified electrician to install it .
Answering

One phone or a group of phones may be
programmed to ring when someone calls at
the doorphone (see
19)

To answer a doorphone call, lift the handset
and speak (there is no code to dial).
Opening the door ( doorstrike)
If you have a doorstrike installed, you can use
a feature code to open the door.
Only phones programmed to ring for the
