Systemphone tones and lights

Sys temp hones
Systemphones cannot be connected in
parallel with themselves or other approved
telephone equipment.
Tones
The BT Revelation Systemphone uses a
variety of tones to identify the status of the
system. These are divided into two types:
Ringing tones let you know when a call is
coming in, and what type it is.
Internal tones tell you the status of the call
you are currently making. These will
normally be heard through the handset,
unless you are in handsfree mode.
Lights
Each of 16 programmable keys above the
keypad on the Systemphone has a light next
to it.
If
the keys are programmed with line
numbers or extension numbers, the lights
will show whether those lines/extensions are
in use.
If
a key is programmed with a feature
the light will show whether the feature is
activated on that Systemphone.
This should not be confused with the use of
these lights
a Busy Lamp Field when
as
programming the Systemphone.
