Call back message
This feature allows you to leave a call back
message on another Systemphone which is
busy or does not answer.
To send a call back message
• After dialling an extension, press the pre­
programmed
MESSAGE

when you hear busy tone.

Systemphone flashes red to indicate that a
call back message has been left.
A
maximum of three messages may be left on an
extension. Busy tone will be returned if you
attempt to leave further messages.
To retrieve a call back message
• If your
light is flashing red, press
MESSAGE

key. The Systemphone shows
MESSAGE
Message from XX.
• Press
again to see if you have any
MESSAGE
further messages.
Once a call back message is displayed, it is
cleared from memory.

This feature enables you to leave an advisory
message that will be displayed to any
Systemphone calling your extension. You can
set an advisory message at an ordinary
telephone (although you cannot check the
content).
Caution
No indication is provided to an ordinary
telephone that a message has been set on
the extension it is calling.
• Press the pre-programmed

6 (At lunch)
(At home)

numbers and so on, use * for : and # for -.
• Replace the handset or press
