Updating the operating system

Windows
The latest updates for the Windows operating system are available on the Internet at
Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us) and on the device in the Start menu "Start > All
Programs > Windows Update > Check for updates".
Note
Before you install new drivers or operating system updates for Windows MUI versions,
configure the regional menu and dialog settings and the default English (US) language.

Installing drivers and software

With the Windows 10 or Windows Server operating system, all drivers are installed in the
delivery state. You can obtain more detailed information from the manufacturer, see section
"Motherboard (Page 108)".

Installing Windows (Recovery)

The recovery function only installs the operating system on your device. In contrast to the
restore function, no device drivers and no SIEMENS software products are installed by the
recovery function.
