Troubleshooting
With any equipment, sometimes problems occur. With the TD Generation, error messages are displayed on
screen with a short description. Below is a list of error messages that you could see on the terminal screen and
the actions required.

mode when they were already in it.

Mobility Tower / host).
The terminal is configured so that
pre-authorization transactions
must be completed before a Batch
Close can be performed.
The terminal has reached the
maximum number of transactions
that can be accumulated for a
business day.

• Either proceed with Training
Mode or repeat the steps and
exit Training Mode.
• Please enter a new amount
and press OK.

• Check your connections and
retry the transaction.
• If the problem persists call the
Help Desk.
• If there is no signal strength,
reboot the access point by
disconnecting and
reconnecting the power cord.
Wait 2 minutes and check
then check the signal strength
again. If the problem persists
call the Help Desk.
• Press Cancel and try again.
• Please complete all open
pre-authorization
transactions, then close the
batch.
• A Day Close must be
processed to allow the
terminal to continue
processing.
• Once this message is
displayed only administrative
transactions and pre-authori-
zation completions
transactions can be
performed.
