Carefully close the imprinter cover.

Press down on the tab of the imprinter cover (as indicated
by the arrow in the illustration) to lock it.
IMPORTANT
When closing the imprinter cover, make sure that it is locked so
that it will not open unexpectedly. An error message appears on
the display panel if the imprinter cover is open.

Cleaning the Print Heads

If the imprinter print head nozzles are dirty, printing may become
streaked or spotty. To prevent this, periodically remove the ink
cartridge and clean the print head with a soft, dry cloth or cotton swab.
CAUTION
Do not touch the metal contacts on the ink cartridge. Doing so may
cause poor connections, resulting in poor print quality.
