Repair Instructions
9.11 Assembling the control unit
S/N – 2015100001

Place all the control unit components in the crank-
case.
Take care to return all the cables to their correct
positions to avoid pinching.
Fasten screws (2x) to the control unit (D) and
screws (2x) to the battery contact (E).
Tightening torque 1 Nm.
See figure 1.

Keep the cables in place. Fit cable retainer (B) and
cable retainer (C). Tightening torque 1 Nm.

Plug the connector into the chain brake sensor and
place it in its attachment. See figure 1 section 9.10

Plug in the connectors to the main switch and
place it into the crankcase.

Plug the connector into the keypad and fasten the
connector to the main switch.
See "Assembling the keypad".

Make sure the cables are held in place inside with
plastic clips so they are not pinched when the saw
is assembled.
See figure 3.

Plug in the connectors to the motor and fit it.
See "Assembling the motor".

Make sure the gray area (A) around the battery
ejector (B) is free from cables.
NOTE! It is essential the area is completely free
from cables so that they are not pinched when
the chain saw is assembled or when the battery
is fitted or removed.

Assemble the saw.
Refer to "Basic dismantle/assembly".
