9.21 Assembling the oil pump

Lubricate as instructed in "Service Data".

Insert the rubber hose through the hole. Carefully
extract it with your fingers or a round-nose pliers
without teeth. Place it in the groove on the outside.
See figure 1.

Press the chain guide plate in place.

Place the cylinder and lubricating shaft into the
hole in the hose and press the components into the
crankcase.

Attach the oil pump with the screws (2x).
Tightening torque 1 Nm.

Assemble the chain brake.

Assemble the control unit.
See "Assembling the control unit".

Fit the motor
See "Assembling the motor".

Assemble the saw.
Refer to "Basic dismantle/assembly".

Fill with chain oil.
WARNING!
Insufficient lubrication of the chain
can result in chain breakage, which
can cause serious personal injury.
