Procedure (Norstar)

1. Access the ConneX parameter using the following path:
MI Path:
Gateway->Configuration->Port->Ports_x-y->Port_x->ConneX
2. Set Enabled to Trunk. This port will now be used to carry associated voice for ConneX.
3. Enter a key number to be used as a Trunk Key. This identifies which key is used to dial out from the
KSU on the Trunk port for dialback purposes.
4. Access the same path as above. Select the next port in sequence (ie. If you selected Port 1 above,
select Port 2.)
Note: The Trunk and Client ports must be in sequential pairs starting at port 1. Use Port 1 and Port
2, Port 3 and port 4, Port 5 and Port 6 etc.
5. Set Enabled to Client. This will identify that this port will be used as the Mobile EXTender (ConneX
Client). For the Client port refer to the table on the following page for information on the configurable
items.
