Connecting to the EXTender 3000
This page provides the necessary information to configure the PBXgateway II with the EXTender 3000 for
connection over an ISDN network.
Prerequisites for Configuration

The 2
I channel (CH2) of each PBX port assigned to a remote user must be configured. See page
nd
32.
•
The PBXgateway II (at the corporate site) and the EXTender 3000 (at the teleworker site) must be
installed properly and the network link between both devices must be operational.
•
The network administrator must assign telephone numbers (Dial numbers) to both the PBXgateway II
and EXTender 3000 units.
The network administrator must provide the remote users with the following ISDN information:

ISDN Network Switch type
•
2 Service Profile Identifier numbers (SPIDs)
•
2 Directory numbers (DNs)
•
Terminal Endpoint Identifier (TEI)
The network administrator must provide the remote users with User ID's and Connect Passwords (if
assigned) or port numbers if not using User ID's.
