4.3.3 Bell Alarm Contact
When a ME10 Power Circuit Breaker trips due to
an over current, shunt or undervoltage release
operation or any other reason, a Bell Alarm
Change over contact can be used to indicate
this.
The device is available as factory mounted
component or as a field mountable device. The
contact can only be used when the breaker is
adjusted to "Manual Reset".

Installation of Bell Alarm contact
1. The breaker should be safely isolated and
fully withdrawn to disconnected position.
2. Remove the fascia as explained...
3. Remove the Trip Unit as indicated in section 2
par.
4. While holding the switch lever, slide the bell
alarm contact assembly on the PMU base as
shown in Fig. B.
5. Assemble the 4 screws as shown in Fig. C.
6. Using a wire tie, tie the wires on the PMU base
wall as shown in Fig. D.
7. Connect the input wire assembly plugs to the
terminals A33, A34 & A35 locations marked on
the secondary disconnect block A as shown in
Fig. E.
8. Re-assemble the Trip Unit as indicated in
section 2 par.
9. Assemble the fascia as explained elsewhere
in this section.

4.3.3 Störmeldeschalter
Der Störmeldeschalter (..als Wechslerkontakt)
wird zur Anzeige eines Vorgangs genutzt, wenn
der Leistungsschalter infolge jeglicher Überlast,
per A- oder U-Auslöser Vorgang oder aus
anderen Gründen angesprochen hat.
Diesen Störmeldeschalter gibt es als
werkseitiges Einbau- oder als Vorort-
montierbares Zubehör. Der Kontakt kann nur
genutzt werden, wenn der Schalter auf
"Manuellen Rückgang" (Manual Reset) gestellt
wurde.

Die Montage des Störmeldeschalters
1. Der Leistungsschalter muss sicher getrennt,
d.h. vollständig aus dem Einschubträger in die
TRENN-Stellung gebracht sein.
2. Entfernen Sie die Leistungsschalter-
Frontabdeckung (siehe unten)
3. Entfernen Sie die Auslöseeinheit wie in Kapitel
2 beschrieben.
4. Während Sie den Schalterhebel halten,
schieben Sie den Störmeldeschalter auf die
Trägerplatte wie in Abb. B dargestellt.
5. Befestigen Sie die 4 Schrauben wie in Abb. C
gezeigt.
6. Binden Sie die Kabel mit Kabelbindern an
dem Trägeraufbau wie in Abb. D gezeigt fest.
7. Schließen Sie den Eingangsstecker an die
Anschlüsse A33, A34 und A35 auf dem
Hilfstrennblock A an, wie in Abb. E gezeigt.
8. Setzen Sie die Auslöseeinheit wieder, wie es
Kapitel 2 beschreibt, ein.
9. Bauen Sie die Leistungsschalter-
Frontabdeckung wieder an, umgekehrt, wie
unten beschrieben.

Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.

1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.

wie in Abb. C.

1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.

4.3.3 Contatto di "sganciato relè»
Il contatto di "sganciato relè" può essere
utilizzato per indicare quando un interruttore
ME10 interviene a causa di uno sgancio di
sovracorrente, di uno sgancio a lancio di
corrente, di uno sgancio di minima tensione o
per un qualsiasi altro motivo.
Il dispositivo è offerto come elemento montato
in fabbrica o come dispositivo da montare in
loco. Il contatto può essere utilizzato solo
quando l'interruttore è impostato su "Reset
manuale".

Installazione di un contatto di "sganciato relè»
1. L'interruttore deve essere isolato in modo
sicuro e completamente estratto in posizione
DISCONNECTED.
2. Togliere la copertura anteriore come indicato.
3. Rimuovere il Relè di Protezione come indicato
nella sezione 2.
4. Tenendo la leva dell'interruttore, far scorrere il
contatto di "sganciato relè" sulla base PMU
come mostrato in Fig. B.
5. Montare le 4 viti come mostrato in Fig. C.
6. Utilizzando una fascetta, legare i fili sulla
parete di base del PMU come mostrato in Fig. D.
7. Collegare gli spinotti dei cavi di ingresso ai
terminali A33, A34 e A35 contrassegnati sulla
morsettiera di sezionamento ausiliaria A, come
mostrato in Fig. E.
8. Rimontare il Relè di Protezione come indicato
nella sezione 2.
9. Montare la copertura anteriore come
spiegato.
3. Ziehen Sie den Spannhebel nach
