4.2.1 Ready to Close Contact (RTC):
A breaker with electrical charging mechanism
can be optionally equipped with a ready to close
indication contact that replaces the standard
Spring Charged Contact (SAC) . The Ready to
Close Contact is available as Normally Open and
Normally Close Contact. It only moves position
when the following conditions are met :
-> The circuit breaker is open
-> The closing springs are charged
-> The circuit breaker in not locked/interlocked in
open position.
-> There is no standing closing order
-> There is no standing opening order
The contact has a 1NO or 1NC configuration and
is available in two variants 'Signal Rated' and
'Power Rated'. All variants can be wired through
the breakers secondary disconnects and in the
case of the 'Signal Rated' type wired through the
Trip Unit harness.
The device always replace the 'Spring Charged
Contact'.
The Ready to Close contact is NOT available as
Field Mountable accessory. The instructions
included here are meant as indications for
service purposes:
Installation of Ready to close Contact
1. The breaker should be safely isolated and fully
withdrawn to disconnected position.
2. Remove the fascia as explained
3. Remove the trip unit (section 2)
4. Slide the RTC switch assembly over the
mechanism side sheet and locate in the two
locating holes as shown in Fig. A.
5. Assemble the screw with washer as shown in
Fig. B. Tighten the screw to torque 2 Nm
6. When the 'Signal Rated' type is used and wired
through the Trip Unit plug the connector from
the RTC assembly to the connector marked RTC
on the Trip Unit harness. See Fig. C
7. When the Signal or Power rated type is used
and wired through the secondary disconnects,
disconnect the SAC switch as indicated in Fig. D
and replace it with the connector of the RTC

4.2.1 Einschaltbereit-Schalter (RTC):
Ein Leistungsschalter mit elektrischer
Spannvorrichtung kann optional mit einem
Einschaltbereit-Schalter ausgerüstet werden, der
den Federspann-Kontakt (SAC) ersetzt. Der
Einschaltbereit-Schalter ist als Schließer und
Öffner vorhanden. Er zeigt an, ob die folgenden
Bedingungen erfüllt sind:
-> Der Leistungsschalter ist geöffnet
-> Die Antriebsfedern sind gespannt
-> Der Leistungsschalter ist nicht gesperrt /
verriegelt in AUS-Stellung.
-> Es steht kein Dauer-Schließbefehl an
-> Es steht kein Dauer-Öffnenbefehl an
Der Kontakt ist eine 1 Schließer oder 1 Öffner
Konfiguration und ist in 2 Versionen verfügbar,
als Power- und als Kleinspannungsvariante. Alle
Varianten können über den Hilfstrennblock und
im Fall als Kleinspannung-Kontakt über den
Auslöseeinheitenkabelbaum verdrahtet werden.
Der Schalter ersetzt immer den Federspann-
Kontakt (SAC).
Der Einschaltbereitschalter ist nicht als Vorort-
montierbares Zubehör erhältlich. Die folgende
Montageanleitung wird nur im Servicefall
benötigt:
Die Montage des Einschaltbereit-Schalters:
1. Der Leistungsschalter muss sicher getrennt,
d.h. vollständig aus dem Einschubträger in die
TRENN-Stellung gebracht sein.
2. Entfernen Sie die Schalterfrontabdeckung..
3. Entfernen Sie die Auslöseeinheit (Kapitel 2)
4. Schieben Sie den Einschaltbereit-Schalter
(RTC) über die Trägerplatte in die zwei
Aufnahmelöcher, siehe Abb. A.
5. Montieren Sie die Schraube mit Scheibe, wie
in Abb. B gezeigt. Ziehen Sie die Schraube mit 2
Nm Drehmoment an.
6. Wird der Einschaltbereit-Schalter (RTC) als
Kleinspannungskontakt über den
Auslöseeinheiten-Stecker verwendet, stecken
Sie den Stecker des RTC-Schalters an den
Kabelstrang der Auslöseeinheit, der mit RTC
markiert ist, siehe Abb. C
7. Wird der Einschaltbereit-Schalter (RTC) als
Kleinspannung- oder Powerkontakt über den
Hilfsschalterblock verwendet, dann ziehen Sie

4.2.1 Contatto di "pronto a chiudere"
(RTC)
Un interruttore con meccanismo di carica
elettrica può essere dotato di un contatto di
"pronto a chiudere" che, nella maggioranza dei
casi, sostituisce il contatto standard di "molla
carica" (SAC). Il contatto di "pronto a chiudere" si
muove in posizione solo quando sono
soddisfatte le seguenti condizioni:
-> L'interruttore è aperto
-> Le molle di chiusura sono cariche
-> L'interruttore non è bloccato/interbloccato in
posizione aperta.
-> Non c'è un comando di chiusura permanente
-> Non c'è un comando di apertura
permanenteIl contatto ha una configurazione
1NA ed è disponibile in due varianti: contatto di
segnale e contatto di potenza. Entrambe le
varianti possono essere collegate attraverso la
morsettiera dei circuiti ausiliari. Qui, il dispositivo
sostituisce sempre il contatto di "molla carica".
Se si utilizza il contatto di segnale collegato
attraverso il cablaggio del Relè di Protezione, il
contatto di "molla carica" può essere lasciato al
suo posto.
Il contatto di "pronto a chiudere" non è
disponibile come accessorio da montare in loco.
Le istruzioni qui fornite sono da intendersi come
indicazioni di esercizio:
Installazione di contatto di "pronto a chiudere"
1. L'interruttore deve essere isolato in modo
sicuro e completamente estratto in posizione
DISCONNECTED.
2. Togliere la copertura anteriore come indicato.
3. Rimuovere il Relè di Protezione (sezione 2)
4. Far scorrere il gruppo del contatto RTC sulla
parte laterale del meccanismo e individuare i
due fori di posizionamento come mostrato in Fig.
A.
5. Montare la vite con rondella come mostrato in
Fig. B. Serrare la vite a 2 Nm
6. Se si utilizza il contatto di segnale collegato
attraverso il Relè di Protezione, inserire il
connettore dall'RTC nel connettore
contrassegnato con RTC nel cablaggio del Relè
di Protezione. (Vedere Fig. C.)
7. Quando viene utilizzato il contatto di segnale
o di potenza collegato attraverso le morsettiere
dei circuiti ausiliari, scollegare il contatto SAC
Removal of Front cover
1. Remove pad locks, installed if any.
2. Unscrew the 6 [Env. T = 4] screws (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) using a Pozidrive screw driver
as shown in Fig. A&B.
3. Rotate the charging handle down and slide the front
cover over the handle to remove out as shown in Fig. C.

1. Entfernen Sie installierte Vorhängeschlösser.
2. Lösen Sie die 6 [Baugr. T = 4] Schrauben (6Nm) mit einem Pozidrive-
Schraubenzieher wie in Abb. A&B dargestellt.
unten, während Sie die Abdeckung für den Abbau nach oben über den Hebel heben,
wie in Abb. C.
Rimozione della copertura anteriore
1. Se installati, rimuovere I lucchetti.
2. Svitare le 6 [Taglia T = 4] viti (6Nm, 4.42ft-lbs) utilizzando un cacciavite Pozidriv
come mostrato in Fig.A&B.
3. Abbassare la leva di carica manuale e far scorrere
la copertura anteriore sopra la maniglia per rimuoverla, come mostrato in Fig. C.
