IP54 Cover
(optional)
Each ME10 breaker is supplied with a Door
Frame that provides the installed device with an
IP40 rating. Optionally an extra cover is available
providing an IP54 rating.
It can be fitted on the panel door in place of the
door flange. It uses the same hole pattern as
door flange and doesn't require any additional
holes.
Use the following procedure to install the IP54
cover on the panel door.
1. Check that the package contains all the parts
listed in Table.
2. Turn the breaker off and discharge the
closing springs by depressing the OFF and ON
buttons in the sequence OFF-ON-OFF.
Verify that the breaker OFF-ON indicator shows
OFF on a green background and that the charge
indicator shows DISCHAR GE on a white
background.
3. Open the panel door. Remove the door flange
from the door by removing the screws from
inside of the door.
4. Assemble the IP54 cover assembly on the
door with screws and washers as shown in
picture.
5. 12 screws are required to assemble the IP54
cover for a drawout type of breaker.
6. 10 screws are required to assemble the IP54
cover for a fixed type of breaker.
7. Fixed type of IP54 cover needs an additional
bracket assembly as shown in the Fig.4.
8. For opening the cover, rotate the latch in anti-
clock wise direction.

IP54 Schutzabdeckung
(optional)
Jeder ME10 Leistungsschalter wird mit einem
Türrahmen für Schutzart IP40 ausgeliefert. Eine
separat lieferbare IP54-Abdeckung ist für alle
Schaltergrößen verfügbar. Sie kann auf der
Schranktür an die Stelle der Türrahmen
angebaut werden. Sie verwendet die gleichen
Löcher wie die Türrahmen und erfordert keine
zusätzlichen Löcher.
Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die IP54 Abdeckung
auf der Schranktür zu installieren.
1. Prüfen Sie, ob der Verpackungsinhalt mit den
Angaben der Tabelle übereinstimmt.
2. Schalten Sie den Leistungsschalter aus und
entspannen Sie die Antriebsfedern durch die
Betätigung der OFF (AUS) und ON (EIN)-Tasten in
der Reihenfolge OFF-ON-OFF (AUS-EIN-AUS).
Überprüfen Sie, dass die Leistungsschalter OFF-
ON-OFF-Anzeige nun einen grünen Hintergrund
und die Antriebsfeder-Anzeige DISCHARGED
(ENTSPANNT) auf einem weißen Hintergrund
anzeigt.
3. Öffnen Sie die Schranktür. Entfernen Sie die
Türrahmen von der Tür, indem Sie die Schrauben
aus dem Türinneren entfernen.

4. Setzen Sie die IP54 Abdeckung auf die Tür mit
Schrauben und Unterlegscheiben, wie in Bild
gezeigt.
5. 12 Schrauben sind erforderlich, um die IP54
Abdeckung für einen Einschubtechnik-
Leistungsschalter einzubauen.
6. 10 Schrauben sind erforderlich, um die IP54
Abdeckung für Festeinbau-Leistungsschalter zu
montieren.
7. Festeinbautypen mit IP54 Abdeckungen
benötigen eine zusätzliche Halterung wie sie in
der Abbildung 4 gezeigt wird.

4.4.10 Copertura IP54
(opzionale)
Ogni interruttore ME10 viene fornito con una
porta che assicura al dispositivo installato un
grado di protezione IP40. Opzionalmente è
disponibile una copertura supplementare che
assicura un grado di protezione IP54.
Essa può essere fissata sulla porta del pannello
al posto della flangia della porta standard. La
copertura utilizza gli stessi fori della flangia della
porta e non richiede forature aggiuntive.
Utilizzare le seguenti procedure per installare la
copertura IP54 sulla porta del pannello.
1. Controllare che la confezione contenga tutte
le parti elencate nella tabella.
2. Spegnere l'interruttore e scaricare le molle di
chiusura premendo i pulsanti ON e OFF secondo
la sequenza OFF-ON-OFF.
Verificare che l'indicatore OFF- ON
dell'interruttore mostri uno sfondo verde e che
l'indicatore di carica mostri DISCHARGE su uno
sfondo bianco.
3. Aprire la porta del pannello. Rimuovere la
flangia della porta togliendo le viti dall'interno
della porta.

4. Montare la copertura the IP54 sulla porta con
le viti e le rondelle, come illustrato nella figura.
5. Per assemblare a copertura IP54 su un
interruttore in esecuzione estraibile sono
richieste 12 viti.
6. Per assemblare a copertura IP54 su un
interruttore in esecuzione fissa sono richieste 10
viti.
7. La copertura IP54 per la versione in
esecuzione fissa richiede delle staffe aggiuntive,
come illustrato in figura Fig.4.
8. Per aprire la porta, ruotare il fermo in
direzione antioraria.
