Tower-to-Rack Conversion Kit

With the IBM xSeries 240 Tower-to-Rack Conversion Kit,
you can convert your server from a tower model to a rack
model. This book provides instructions for installing a
conversion kit on your server and installing your server in a
rack enclosure. For additional information about the
xSeries 240 server, consult the "Hardware Information"
section of the xSeries 240 Server Library.
Note
Installing the server in a rack will require three people.

Two server covers
One service label
One rack-model trim bezel, with power-on switch
protector attached in a bag
Two wheel-shaped knobs
One or more packages of screws, some of which are
optional replacement screws
One installation template
One rack mounting kit
Two slide-rail assemblies
One cable-management arm assembly including
hitch pins
One bag of screws and nuts
Hook and loop fastener strips
One packet of tiewraps
