How the overlays are presented in this chapter
Overlays are programmed by responding to a series of prompts. The procedures in
this section mention only those prompts that require a specific entry for CallPilot.
You can program other prompts if necessary for your site. To accept the default value
for other prompts, press Enter.
ATTENTION
Working with overlays
When you work with overlays, follow these general steps:

Load the appropriate overlay.

Respond to the prompts as shown in the tables in this section. Press Enter after
each prompt until you reach the next one that you must define for CallPilot.

When you complete the configuration, enter **** in response to the REQ
prompt.
The customer number
CallPilot can only be provided on a per customer basis on the CS 1000 system. AML
messages used for communications between the CS 1000 system and CallPilot
contain a customer number to which CallPilot belongs.
ATTENTION
Communication Server 1000 Meridian and CallPilot Server Configuration
Ensure that you update the CS 1000 database when you finish
making changes, as described in "Saving CS 1000 changes" on
page 96.
When you enter the customer number in the overlays, ensure
that it is the correct customer number.
