If you believe that your vehicle has a de-
fect that could cause a collision, injuries
or death, immediately inform both the
National Highway Traffic Safety Ad-
ministration (NHTSA) and Moto Guzzi.
If the NHTSA receives other similar infor-
mation, they may open an investigation
and if they find the presence of a safety
defect for a group of vehicles, they may
order a recall or correction campaign.
However, NHTSA will not involve itself in
individual problems between yourself,
your dealership or Moto Guzzi. To con-
tact NHTSA, you can call the toll-free
Auto Safety Hotline 1-800-424-9393 (or
366-0123 in Washington, D.C.) or you
can write to: NHTSA, U.S. Department of
Transportation, Washington, D.C. 20590.
