If you believe that your vehicle has a de-
fect that could cause an accident, injuries
or death, immediately inform NHTSA
(National Highway Traffic Safety Ad-
ministration) and Moto Guzzi. If NHTSA
receives other similar information they
may open an investigation and if they find
the presence of a safety defect for a
group of vehicles, they may order a recall
or correction campaign. In any case,
NHTSA will not involve itself in individual
problems between yourself, your dealer-
