The unused part of the planing shaft must be covered by the cover. Never touch the
edges of the workpiece with your fingers, but always leave both hands on the
workpiece with your fingers when planing. If the workpiece is short and narrow, use
the sliding stick.
Only plane workpieces that rest firmly on the machine and that can be guided safely!

 Attach the suction hose (7) both to the dust
collector (8) and to the machine (9) and secure
it with two hose clamps (10).
 Before starting planing, the machine must be
switched to the planing function.
 To do this, the lever (11) is swivelled downwards
to avoid unnecessary rotation of the feeding
rollers.
 The desired cutting depth is set with the
adjusting screw (12), which is located at the
front of the entry planer table (13).
 With the aid of the scale (14), the set cutting
depth can be read off. A cutting depth between
0.5 and 1.5 mm (1/64~1/16 in.) provide the
best surface quality.
 Fix the planer fence (15) in the desired working
position with the fixing lever (16).
 The angular adjustment of the planer fence is
fixed with the angular fixing lever (17).
 Adjust the blade guard (18) so that there is a
distance of approx. 5 mm between the guard
and the workpiece.
