3.2 GROUNDING

To ensure the protection of the
device against electrical interference
and the safe function of the device,
the rear heatsink must be connected
to the ground of the vehicle /
machine.
A suitable screw is provided on the
rear of the device, below the RAM
mount location.

3.3 FUSING

NOTE: When using connector pins part no. 770854-1 (8 A rated) pins, utilise multiple
supply pins where the application requires more than 8 A. Connector pins part no. 770854-3
are 16 A rated.
Ensure one ground pin is used for each supply pin used. This ensures the ground return path
has the correct current carrying capacity.
The individual electric circuits must be fused in order to protect the whole system. Select appropriate
fuses to protect the outputs being supplied.
