TEST
1 NOTE: Ensure the battery is fully charged.
Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII select MONITOR DISPLAY, WARNING LAMP STATUS and read
the PASSIVE RESTRAINTS, AIRBAG, MONITOR DISPLAY, WARNING LAMP
STATES.
With no active DTCs, Does the ACM LAMP REQ: display ON?
Yes → Replace the Airbag Control Module in accordance with Service
→ Refer to symptom list for problems related to Instrument Cluster.
No
NOTE: When reconnecting Airbag system components, the ignition must be
turned off and the battery must be disconnected.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
Instructions. WARNING: make sure the battery is disconnected
and wait 2 minutes before proceeding.
Perform AIRBAG VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
