ILLUMINATED ENTRY NOT ENABLED
TEST
1 Check the Courtesy Lamps for proper operation.
Does the Courtesy Lamp operate properly from the Door Ajar Switches and the Dome
Light Switch?
Yes → Go To 2
→ Refer to Symptom list for problems related to COURTESY
No
2 With the DRBIII select: THEFT ALARM - VTSS - MISCELLANEOUS - ENABLE
ILLUMINATED ENTRY.
With the DRBIII , read the ILLUMINATED ENTRY status.
Does the DRBIII display ENABLED?
Yes → The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present.
→ With the DRB, enable the Illuminated Entry.
No
POSSIBLE CAUSES
ACTION
LAMPS INOPERATIVE.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
Inspect the related wiring harness for a possible intermittent
condition. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched or partially
broken wires.
