3. Verify that the USB driver software is installed properly.
Open Windows Device Manager and verify that ADSP-21262
EZ-KIT Lite shows under DSP Emulators with no exclamation
point, as in
Figure
Figure 1-12. Device Manager Window
If using an EZ-KIT Lite on Windows 98, disconnect the USB
cable from the board before booting the PC. When Windows 98 is
booted and you are logged on, re-connect the USB cable to the
board. The operation should continue normally from this point.
To set up a session in VisualDSP++:
1. Verify that the yellow USB monitor LED (
USB connector) is lit. This signifies that the board is communicat-
ing properly with the host PC and is ready to run VisualDSP++.
2. Press and hold down the keyboard Control (CTRL) key.
