Starting Up

The panel runs through its start-up sequence when power is applied. This lasts
approximately 1 minute.
During start-up, the unit briefly displays:
• an initial screen (see Figure 2-6a); followed by
• a splash screen (see Figure 2-6b); and, after start-up,
• a home screen (see Figure 2-6c).

When the ATP-2000 Advanced Touch Panel is showing its Home Screen in the rack, then its
rack installation is complete. (See
about the device's start up sequence.)

Note: An ATP-2000 panel ships with DHCP enabled. The panel requires a GV
Orbit system to have its DHCP facility enabled: On unit power up, an
IP address is then assigned automatically by GV Orbit.
