Instructions for use Oxylog 3000 plus SW 1.n
Cause
The measured expiratory tidal
volume VT is approximately 40 %
lower than the inspiratory tidal
volume.
Faulty flow sensor.
Technical defect.
No logbook data or clock
available. Actual settings will be
lost in case of a power loss.
Technical defect.
The upper alarm limit for the min-
ute volume MVe has been
exceeded.
Faulty flow sensor.
Technical defect.
The minute volume MVe has
dropped below its lower alarm
limit.
Leakage in breathing circuit.
Faulty flow sensor.
Technical defect.
Internal battery not installed,
faulty or wrong battery installed.
Remedy
Repair leakages in breathing
circuit and/or patient connec-
tion.
Use a new breathing circuit.
Replace the flow sensor.
Disconnect the device from
the patient and immediately
continue ventilation using
another ventilator.
Contact DrägerService.
Ventilation functions are not
affected.
Contact DrägerService.
To continue ventilation with
this device, continuously mon-
itor the device functions.
Contact DrägerService.
Check patient condition,
check ventilation pattern, cor-
rect alarm limits if necessary.
Replace the flow sensor.
