5.6.2. Switching rake from forming one to forming two single rows

In order to switch the machine for raking two rows, perform the following:
fold out working assemblies with tractor's hydraulics, so that raking tines on front working
assembly do not overlap with tines on the rear assembly,
open valve on tarpaulin cover mechanism cylinder.
Switching the valve shall cause the cover to get lifted as headlands with working assemblies, and
be set for operation as the machine starts raking.
When forming two rows the rear cover is set the same as when forming a single one.
Once the work is completed, first lift the tarpaulin cover mechanism (Fig. 26) and secure the valve
on cylinder (Fig. 27). Working assemblies can be slid down only when the mechanism is secured.
CAUTION!
When sliding down the working assemblies, pay particular attention to tarpaulin
cover on the front working assembly – if in lower position its damage may
follow.

5.6.3. Adjustment of front safety curtain inclination angle

Inclination of front safety curtain can be adjusted as needed. The adjustment is done by
unscrewing bolts (S) fixing the safety curtain and screwing them again in the selected holes as shown
in Fig. 30.
