CAUTION!
Keep the children away from the mower both in operation and standstill.
When in standstill the machine should be protected against unauthorized use with a padlock

mounted on hitch pin (Fig. 36).
Prior to performing any maintenance works, assembly, disassembly, set the machine onto a stable
❑
ground and protect against unintentional shifting.
When cleaning the machine, use personal protective equipment for health protection.
❑
Any maintenance inspections and regulations may be conducted only when the mower is
❑
disassembled and lowered onto the ground.
If any maintenance or adjustment works under the lifted rake are necessary, it must be secured
❑
against falling with a support.
If any part of the mower needs to be replaced, use only genuine spare parts according to catalogue
❑
of spare parts.
Bolts and other fasteners should be inspected on regular basis. Operating with damaged or worn
❑
fasteners is not admissible.
Locking pawl line should be mounted with relevant tolerance in the tractor cabin.

When operating the rake, please comply with the Resolution of the Minister of Agriculture and Food
❑
Economy of 12-01-1998 on work safety when operating tractors, machines, technical instruments
and devices used in agriculture (Dz. U. no 12/98 item 51.)
When operating the rake, the tractor should always be equipped with an operator's cabin.

The rake should not be operated unless the cooperating tractor is well balanced.
❑
Never start the rake if it is lifted up.
❑
Never start the mower when persons or animals are present near the machine.
❑
Always comply with safety decals describing hazards, and warning signs placed on the machine.
❑
Before you start the tractor make sure that every other drives are turned off and the levers steering
❑
hydraulics are in neutral position.
Never leave the tractor's engine running without supervision. Before you leave the tractor, lower
❑
work assemblies in the ground, turn off the engine and put off the key from tractor's ignition switch.
Do not approach moving jointed connections of hitches when in operation.
❑
It is forbidden to drive the rake backwards when operating.
❑
Never get onto the rake.
❑
It is not permitted to lift the rake arms up with the drive on and the discs rotating.
❑
Keep away from the area between tractor and the machine, before tractor-rake set is secured
❑
against moving by the tractor's brake.
The machine should be stored under roof and in manner that effectively prevents animals and
❑
persons from being injured.
Do not leave agricultural machinery on slopes or other descents without providing protection
❑
against its free runaway.
Due to risk of tipping, it is not permissible to fold rotors for work on cants (across the slope). Setting
❑
the machine should be performed on an even ground or upwards/down the slope.
When operating over a stony field or nearby roads there exists a risk of throwing out stones or other
❑
objects, which may pose a danger for passing-by vehicles on the road or for passers-by. Therefore
keep the safe distance.
