    TANGO 730 TWO-ROTOR ROTARY RAKE OPERATOR’S MANUAL 3. PROPER USE Rotary rake is designed to rake up green forage, dried forage and hay. The machine cooperates with tractors with power from 60 HP. The rake can be used only by persons familiarized with its technical characteristics, and aware of risks associated with its operation and ways to avoid these.

Respect lubrication frequency of telescopic articulated shaft solely. Points marked in Fig. 3 shall be lubricated every 50 hours. Telescopic articulated shaft shall be lubricated prior to and after period of longer idleness also.

    TANGO 730 TWO-ROTOR ROTARY RAKE OPERATOR’S MANUAL 5. USING THE RAKE 5.1. Mounting rake on tractor CAUTION! When attaching the rake, there should be no persons between the machine and the tractor. Any accidental manoeuvring with the aggregate might cause crushing of unauthorized personnel.

This time is sufficient to fold the machine to transport position or unfold it to working position. As the 60 s time elapses the panel will go to sequential operation mode.

Preparing rake for transport on public roads To meet safety precautions concerning transport on the public roads the rake should be equipped with warning triangle, attached at the rake's rear (the plates are standard-delivered with the machine.)

Safety guards should be inspected whether they (in the tractor, the mower and the PTO shaft) are placed correctly and are not damaged.

    5.5. Preparing rake for operation CAUTION! For the machine storing period, cylinder rods are lubricated as SaMASZ with protective grease in order to protect them against weather conditions able to shorten their service life. Prior to start operating the machine remove excess grease coming out from cylinder rods.

Bearings and joints Every 50 hours of rake’s operation, pay attention to lubricating rear wheel legs and trolley (Fig. 42) with grease ŁT43 (or other lubricant designed for lubricating rolling and sliding bearings, which are exposed to operating in temperatures between -30°C and +130°C).
