Manual regulation of rake's working width (arms lifted up). Hydraulic extension
can be done in transport as well as on headlands (Fig. 34).

5.6. Operation

Rotary rake is used for raking up swath or grass after tedders. The driving speed should be the
result of ground configuration, quantity of grass, and raking cleanness.
To provide even better ground following, the rake has been equipped with transverse and length-
wise ground following function (Fig. 24).

Depending on setting the working assemblies' operating widths, the rake will be able to form
either one, or two rows.
When forming two rows, both swath screens should be lowered.

5.6.1. Setting rake for forming one row

In order to prepare the machine for forming one row, perform the following:
using the tractor's hydraulics lift the front guard maximally up (Fig. 26),
secure the lifting mechanism by closing the cylinder valve (Fig. 27),
