– Remove the bolts -11- and then remove the pendulum support
from the transmission.
– Secure the subframe. Refer to
⇒ "4.3 Subframe, Securing", page 11
– Disconnect the connector for the service interval extension to
the oil pan.
– Place the Engine and Gearbox Jack - VAS6931- -1- under the
subframe.
– Remove the bolts -5 and 6- and slightly lower the subframe
using the Engine and Gearbox Jack - VAS6931- . Pay atten‐
tion the electrical wiring while doing this.
– Remove the bolts -arrows- and the heat shield -1- above the
steering gear.
