Diesel particle filter

The exhaust system of a tractor is equipped with
a diesel particle filter which serves for cleaning exhaust
fumes. Solid particles (carbon particles) are collected and
burned in diesel particle filter which originate by burning
diesel.
Indication of operation of the diesel particulate filter is indicated by the pair of signal lamps (green and
orange) on the instrument panel. Defects of the system of the diesel particulate filter while the engine is
running are indicated by activation of the orange signal lamp on the instrument panel.
A short-term activation of the orange signal lamp without subsequent acoustic signal does not
mean indication of the defect.
The conditions suitable for regeneration of the diesel particulate filter while the engine is running are
indicated by activation of the green signal lamp on the instrument panel. The full diesel particulate filter is
automatically regenerated by temperature of exhaust gases at higher engine load.
During operation of tractors with the engine equipped with a diesel particulate filter avoid
long-term operation at idling or at low engine load.

Diesel particle filter - system failures signalization

Defects of the system of the diesel particulate filter
while the engine is running are indicated by activation of
the orange signal lamp on the instrument panel and by
subsequent acoustic signal.
If the defect is not eliminated, it is indicated every time
when the engine is started.
The defect code is shown on the display (1) of the display
unit which is available after removal of the right cover of
the control bracket.
The defects are shown on the display (1) in the E shape:
two-character defect code.
For example E:36, where 36 is the defect code.
If the defect is not indicated, operational data of the
system of the diesel particulate filter are shown on the
display.
The button (2) can be used to deactivate the acoustic
signal. If the defect was not removed, the acoustic signal
is active when the engine is restarted and it can be
deactivated with the button (2) again.
If the key in the switch box is in the position 'I' and the
engine is not started, after about ten minutes the system
of the diesel particulate filter starts to indicate the defect.
Switch the key to the position '0' and start the engine. The
defect code on the display is E:32 or E:33.
