Target selection
A detailed analysis of the assignment of the Control processor points for the eight subcycles of the
Control processor scan is available by selecting the SCHEDULE INFO target. This invokes the HPMM
Schedule Information display shown in the following figure.
Four cycles
The Control processor 1-second point-processing scan is divided into four cycles, each of which contains
two subcycles. When configuring the Control processor and its associated entities, the user distributes the
processing of the various point types among the several subcycles by slot type and slot number. This
information is shown in the HPMM Schedule Information display in tabular form, along with the overrun
counters for each cycle and subcycle. Inspection of the data in this table enables the user to determine
where the assignment of slots is causing overruns and enables correction of the distribution to minimize
overloading
Slot indices
Each box in the upper part of the table shows which slot indices of each point type are being processed in
a given subcycle of the processing scan. For example, in Figure 130, PV Slots 25 through 9 are being
processed during subcycle 1a, Logic Slots 17 through 1 are being processed during subcycle 2b, and so
on. This information is fixed as a result of configuration and is not updated in the display.
