Calibration procedure

Use the following procedure to calibrate a nonredundant HLAI IOP.
Step
1
Have the operator ensure that the IOP card is placed into the Idle state through the
HPM Detail Status display.
This calibration procedure calibrates all channels simultaneously, rather than each
channel singularly.
2
Select the ENABLE CALIBRATION target on the Detail Status display for this HLAI.
The ENABLE CALIBRATION target changes to the DISABLE CALIBRATION target.
3
If the voltage source is connected before idling the IOP and enabling
calibration, the HLAI will report a Soft failure. Connect the calibration voltage
source to the FTA and adjust the voltage to 5 Vdc (4.9995 – 5.0005 Vdc). See
Figure
The assembly layout of the redundant model MU-TAIH12 FTA is illustrated in
Figure 217. The assembly layouts of all the HLAI FTAs are illustrated in the
Process Manager I/O Installation manual.
